Christopher G. Kennedy is an American businessman and politician. He is the son of Robert F. Kennedy and a member of the Kennedy family. Kennedy served as the chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of Illinois from 2009 to 2015.
Kennedy also ran for governor of Illinois in the 2018 Democratic primary, but ultimately lost to J.B. Pritzker. Prior to his political career, Kennedy worked in the real estate industry and served as president of Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.
